The receptionist was very nice and accommodating to work with me to keep my appointment and that was very appreciated! I had my procedure in November 2024. Initially I just went in to inquire about the procedure but the friendly and helpful office staff got me an appointment the same day. Dr. Gaugau was very thorough and explained the procedure as well as how the fibroids were affecting my overall health. We had a minor insurance snag but the staff and I worked together to get through it and I was able to have my procedure. It went well, the first day was ROUGH pain wise, but it didn't last too long. Today I feel ten thousand times better! I noticed that my stomach went down considerably and I no longer have pain or cramping. No more stress on my bladder either. I am thankful that I found Dr. Gaugau, Nurse Bonnie, Kesha and Dawn. They made this experience go over so well and I'd recommend them to anyone who is struggling with fibroids.

It all starts with customer service, from being greeted by Keisha upon arrival , not sure if she knows it. She has a very calm and soothing voice. My Dr. told me that I had three fibroids and needed hysterectomy, I was so depressed. My friend told me about her Dr., Dr. GauGau… I never met a doctor so polite and patient. He assured me I had others options. He gave me a full description of each option. He sent me for a MRI. My doctor told me I had three fibroids, but I actually had 22 fibroids. Dr. GauGau scheduled me for UFE immediately after. He saved my womb y’all. The The surgery was successful. I went back for my three month check and my stomach has decreased significantly. I feel great. I look much better. I can’t thank him a lot. He saved my womb. I want you to know that you don’t have to lose your womb. Come see Dr. GauGau before you make any decisions, I promise you, you won’t regret it.

I had the worst case of adenomyosis/fibroids for 2 years where I struggled with lots of pain and heavy bleeding. Every OB/GYN consultation I attended had a suggestion or advice for a total hysterectomy. I did not want to go through any surgeries and I knew there was a better option out there. After extensive research, I stumbled upon Dr, Gaugau's website. My first consultation with Dr. Gaugau was excellent. He was the first doctor, who gave me a detailed explanation of my diagnosis and what an embolization was all about. An MRI of the uterus showed I had a huge fibroid, a 17-inch fibroid which was attached to the lining of the uterus. The fibroid was so huge that the lining of the uterus was almost invisible! No wonder every OB/GYN suggested a total hysterectomy. An embolization was completed on the 25th of September and a few weeks post-op I could tell that the procedure was working. I had lost inches around my stomach area, with no pain, and no heavy bleeding. I had a follow-up consultation with Dr. Gaugau today and my fibroid has shrunk by about 60%. Uterine Fibroid Embolization {UFE} works ladies! Why go under the knife when you can have a UFE? I highly recommend Dr, Gaugau to any woman with fibroids/adenomyosis. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic and I appreciate him as a doctor. I also thank Ms. Dawn and Ms. Keisha for their excellent customer service and thank you, Nurse Bonnie, for being a great nurse. Thank you again, Dr. Gaugau! YOU ROCK!!!!!!
