My first impression was outstanding—Dr. Gaugau’s bedside manner was exceptional, and he provided me with an option I had never been given before.Before coming to him, I was discouraged. My gynecologist had referred me to a surgeon, who recommended a hysterectomy due to the size of my fibroids. That was not a path I wanted to take. However, meeting Dr. Gaugau changed everything. On the same day I had mistakenly been scheduled for a hysterectomy, I had my consultation with Dr. Gaugau instead. It was a sign that I was meant to be there.His staff, particularly Keisha and Dawn, made me feel supported from the very beginning. They handled everything with such care, ensuring a seamless process. The convenience of having my labs and MRI done in the same building was a game-changer, especially for someone like me who struggles with ADHD.In September, I underwent the UFE procedure, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The team not only took excellent care of me but also supported my mother, who traveled from out of town to be with me. They even assisted her with her FMLA paperwork, ensuring she could return to work without financial worries.Post-procedure, I feel incredible. The discomfort and bulkiness I once lived with are gone, and I finally feel like myself again. I highly recommend Dr. Gaugau and his team to anyone considering UFE for fibroid treatment. Their level of care, from the initial consultation to the procedure and beyond, is top-tier.One area for improvement would be more structured post-procedure guidance, including follow-up MRIs and written instructions on next steps, dietary changes, and additional support services like pelvic floor therapy or nutritional counseling. This would elevate the experience to an even more comprehensive, holistic approach.Even with that, I give Dr. Gaugau, Keisha, Dawn, and the entire staff a solid 4.8 out of 5 stars. Their compassion, professionalism, and expertise have made a lasting impact on my life, and I am forever grateful. If you’re considering UFE, this is the team you want by your side.

This was the best decision that I have made. I was dealing with a three-year struggle, and no other means had helped me.Dr Gaugau was pleasant and listened intently as I explained the issue to him. I was ready to explain the processes that were best for my condition.The procedure was great, and the team helped me relax as I had anxiety. They played music and danced with me and that helped me a lot. Everyone listened intently to my needs and concerns. I would recommend Dr Gaugau to anyone in need of honesty, caring and considerate help to a desperate need. I truly enjoyed my experience.

Dr. Gau Gau is probably one of the best doctors I’ve ever met!!! I came to him in severe pain from my fibroids and who knew that just in a week after my procedure I would already feel better. He explained what he was going to do and how much better I would be because of it. And to think, I was considering a hysterectomy and by meeting Dr. G, he totally changed that idea. If you have any issues with fibroids and have no idea what to do, please call Dr. G!! He will take care of you and help you to feel better. Thanks Dr.G for everything you did and continue to do for women of color dealing with this issue. You will not be disappointed!!! He is the BEST!

Have you ever heard a radio commercial and felt its truth? Well, I’ve been hearing Dr. Gaugau’s advertisement on my favorite radio station for years. I never thought that I would need his services.I was experiencing severe pain in my lower abdomen followed by unusual menstrual bleeding. I learned that I had uterine fibroid tumors growing inside of me. It seemed like my symptoms and pain grew worse after learning of my situation.I was so afraid but I gave Dr. Gaugau a call and left a message. To my surprise he called me back. I scheduled my appointment for UFE surgery. He explained everything enough that I was convinced to have the procedure done. His staff; Bonnie, Dawn and Keisha made me feel like we were family. They guided me every step of the way. My surgery was a success. Although I had pain, I was up and at it in no time. Dr Gaugau and team continued to support me by providing further resources to support my needs. I give this team a 10 star rating. I waited 3 whole months to give this review because I really wanted to assure anyone who were experiencing the same issue that they would be in the best of care with Dr Gaugau and team.

All I can say is wow! Dr Gaugua and his team are amazing! This team has ensured I was equipped with understanding of my procedure cheered me up spoke so positively. Uterine Fibroid Embolization has changed my life for the better! After experiencing heavy, prolonged periods and perpetual exhaustion for years, I now enjoy a more vibrant life, thanks to Dr. Gaugau and his exceptional staff. First, I was impressed by the outstanding customer service i received from the ladies at the front desk, then by Dr. Gaugau's patience and thoroughness in answering my questions and explaining concepts.
